It is now official who will be entrusted with leading KF Skënderbeu Korçë for the new football season.

After many names were rumored in recent weeks for the red-and-white bench, the Korçë club has decided to once again place the team under the guidance of Julian Ahmataj, who returns for a second spell in charge of Skënderbeu.

The news was officially announced by the club, while president Ardjan Takaj and Sporting Director Ardi Gjançi were present at the meeting where the agreement was finalized. The parties shook hands and wished each other a successful partnership moving forward, although the details of the signed contract have not been made public.

Ahmataj’s return to Korçë is seen as an important move for the club at a time when Skënderbeu aims to build a competitive squad and return to the levels the club belongs to. The coach now faces a difficult mission, starting first with the transfer market and the construction of the squad for the new season.
