Official: Orges Shehi appointed as head coach of FC Prishtina

Following his departure from Tirana, Orges Shehi has been officially appointed as the new head coach of FC Prishtina. The Kosovan club and the experienced Albanian coach have reached an agreement, and the partnership has now been made official.
FC Prishtina announced that it has signed Shehi, who will take charge of the team starting from next season.
“FC Prishtina announces that it has reached an agreement with coach Orges Shehi, who will lead our team from the upcoming season,” the club said in its official statement.
Shehi arrives in the Kosovan capital with extensive experience in Albanian and regional football, having previously managed clubs such as Skënderbeu, Kukësi, Partizani, Ballkani, and Tirana.
During his time at Tirana, he won the Albanian league title and the Albanian Super Cup, while with Skënderbeu he also lifted the Albanian Super Cup. For his achievements, Shehi was named “Coach of the Year” in Albania twice, in 2022 and 2023.
In addition to his coaching career, Orges Shehi enjoyed a successful career as a goalkeeper and is regarded as one of the most prominent figures in Albanian football.
