"The overall standard of comments on social media has officially dropped to grade Z... It's embarrassing to read them, let alone write them! Grown men and women, people with families, using such vulgar language and showing such a twisted mindset," Ronela wrote.

She said she is particularly concerned that verbal attacks and offensive comments directed at public figures have become increasingly common across social media platforms.

The singer also addressed those who spend their time attacking others online, urging them to focus on improving their own lives instead.

"If you spent all this time and energy that you devote to bitterness on fixing your own lives, this country would be a much better place," she concluded.
