SECOND CATEGORY / AFF officially announces the two groups for the new season, here is where Devolli and Maliqi will play!

The Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) has officially announced today the group allocation for the new season of the Second Category, which this year includes many well-known names in Albanian football, as well as B teams of clubs from the Superiore and First Category.

AFF ANNOUNCEMENT

The Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Federation has approved the division of the participating teams into Group A and Group B of the Second Category for the 2026/27 football season.

The proposal for the composition of the two groups was prepared by the Competition Department, following consultations with the League and Competition Commission, and was approved by the Executive Committee of AFF.

The new edition of the Second Category will feature 23 teams, divided into two groups. Group A will consist of 12 teams, while Group B will have 11 teams.

The approved division for the 2026/27 season is as follows:

With the approval of the composition of the two groups, organizational work continues for the preparation of the new 2026/27 Second Category season. The relevant departments of AFF will proceed with the next steps for organizing the competition and preparing the match schedule.
