“Big Brother VIP 5” contestant Selin Bollati made a statement during Saturday’s prime-time that drew attention, mentioning Marina Vjollca by name.
During a publicity moment, while talking with DJ Gimbo and arranging gifts from the show’s sponsors—including one from Marina Vjollca’s brand—Selin said she had previously been invited to a TV show and was asked to make a false statement to create media buzz.
“She used to be a presenter here at Topi, now she has this brand. She once invited me to a show, for a sports panel, and told me: ‘You will go on and say a Spanish footballer harassed you. It will go viral,’” Selin stated.
Selin added that she refused the request: “I said ‘no.’ And because of that, I haven’t…” — her sentence trailed off quietly and was not clearly picked up by the microphone.
Regarding when this allegedly happened, Selin did not specify, but there are two possibilities:
1. Marina Vjollca hosted the show “Procesi Sportiv” on Top Channel until 2017 before moving to TV Klan. Considering this timeline and the fact that Selin was born in 2002, she would have been at most 15 years old when supposedly invited to the panel, or even younger depending on the exact year. In this context, the claim that a minor was invited to a sports panel and asked to publicly state she had been harassed by a Spanish footballer “to go viral” raises serious questions. It could be a misinterpretation by Selin, or—if she is telling the truth—the situation is genuinely concerning.
2. Marina Vjollca also hosted the show “Kampionët” on TV Klan during Euro 2024, which opens the possibility that Selin is referring to a different panel, at a later period. Selin Bollati has been part of TV Klan as a dancer on “E diela shqiptare” and presented “Kënga Magjike 2024,” showing she had an ongoing relationship with this television network.
Without a clear clarification on the exact time and circumstances, the statement remains ambiguous and open to interpretation.
So far, there has been no public response from Marina Vjollca regarding Selin’s claim.
