SERIOUS INCIDENT / 10-year-old dies after falling from a balcony, police investigate the circumstances

A tragic incident occurred today in Tetovo, where a 10-year-old boy fell from the balcony of the apartment where he lived and died.

The Tetovo Police Department (SPB Tetovë) reported that they received notification of the case at 09:25. The boy reportedly had health issues.

“Today (03.03.2026) at 09:25, the Tetovo Police Department received a report that a 10-year-old boy from Tetovo was brought to the Tetovo Clinical Hospital deceased,” the statement reads.

“According to the report, the child, who had health problems, fell from the balcony of the apartment where he lived in Tetovo. His parents were informed of the incident by a neighbor and then took him to the hospital. A doctor confirmed his death, and by order of the public prosecutor, the body was sent for an autopsy,” the SPB Tetovë added.
