SERIOUS INCIDENT / High school student stabs teacher outside the school gates

A serious incident occurred this morning in Bergamo, where a teacher was stabbed by a high school student.

Italian media report that the attack happened in front of the high school, shortly before classes were set to begin. The victim was a French language teacher, though the motive remains unknown.

The teacher was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition.
