A woman was found dead today (April 17) inside a residential building in central Athens, prompting an immediate response from the authorities.

According to preliminary information, a man has been escorted from a short-term rental apartment in the same building, on Kolokotroni Street, and is being questioned as part of the investigation.

Initial sources indicate that the woman is suspected to have arranged a meeting with the escorted individual through a dating app.
