Shakira will once again return to the atmosphere of the FIFA World Cup, this time with the song “Dai Dai,” which has been selected as the official anthem of the 2026 World Cup. The news was announced by the artist herself through a short video on social media, where she revealed that the music project will be released on May 14.

The 2026 World Cup will be hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, while Shakira’s return has sparked widespread positive reactions among football and music fans worldwide.

This marks the third time the Colombian artist is linked to the musical history of the World Cup. In 2010, she achieved global success with “Waka Waka (This Is Africa),” the official song of the World Cup in South Africa, and in 2014 she released “La La La” for the World Cup in Brazil.

In the promotional video for the new song, filmed at the iconic Maracanã Stadium, Shakira appears in a festive atmosphere, accompanied by dancers and symbolic football elements. The artist performs fragments of “Dai Dai,” increasing anticipation for the new music project.

The title of the song, which in Italian means “come on,” has sparked curiosity among the public and speculation that the project will bring dynamic rhythms and energy similar to previous World Cup anthems.

Meanwhile, FIFA aims for “Dai Dai” to become the musical symbol of the 2026 World Cup, accompanying ceremonies, celebrations, and key moments of the biggest football tournament in the world.
