Shocked by the death of Bunjaku, the players express their reactions: “Our ‘Babo’, rest in peace”

Shocked by the death of Fatjon Bunjaku, his teammates have shared emotional reactions on social media. Isi Manellari was among the first to react: “Rest in peace, my brother! May God have mercy on you,” wrote Manellari.

“Rest in peace, my brother. God took you too soon, but you will always be in our hearts,” said Antonio Delaj. “Rest in peace, my brother,” was another message from Kristi Qose.

Bruno Lulaj wrote: “Rest in peace, our brother. Words are not enough to describe the pain and sadness this news has brought us. You will always be in our hearts, Babo. Sincere condolences to the family.”

In his reaction, Emiljano Musta said: “God wanted you close to Him, brother. We will miss you so much. Our ‘Babo’, rest in peace. Condolences to the family.” Loukili also expressed his condolences.

The car accident tragically took the life of Bunjaku. The Elbasani footballer passed away shortly after midnight while traveling on the Prishtina–Mitrovica road.

Bunjaku joined Elbasani last summer. The 22-year-old forward also featured for Kosovo U-21, and before his spell with the yellow-and-blues he played for Malisheva, Gjilan, Liria, and Trepça.
