Shots fired / Police Inspectorate investigator wounded

Gunfire was reported on Monday evening in Pristina.

The incident is said to have occurred around 21:00 on “B” Street in Pristina, where one person was injured by the shots.

Police spokesperson for the Pristina region, Flora Ahmeti, stated that the injured individual is an investigator at the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK). The incident is not believed to be related to his official duty.

The injured person was taken for medical treatment and is fortunately out of danger. Ahmeti added that police have launched an investigation to clarify the case, while the suspected perpetrator, who has been identified, is currently being sought.
