Skënderbeu has played two test matches so far—if they can even be called that—both against Skënderbeu U-19. The most recent was just yesterday, but the real official friendly matches have yet to begin.
The first official friendly test is scheduled for Saturday, July 26, when Skënderbeu will face Struga, the team coached by Bledi Shkëmbi.
The Skënderbeu-Struga match will take place at the southeastern stadium on the afternoon of July 26. Following this, more friendly matches are planned: at least on August 1 against Besa, and on August 6 against Pogradec in the lake city derby.
It’s expected that in addition to these three confirmed friendlies, other test matches will be arranged, though they are not finalized yet.
In short, the Skënderbeu-Struga match on Saturday, July 26 will officially open the series of test matches for coach Ernest Gjoka’s team.
Planned friendly matches so far:
July 26 — Skënderbeu vs Struga
August 1 — Skënderbeu vs Besa
August 6 — Pogradeci vs Skënderbeu
