The big final of the First Category between Skënderbeu and Laçi started with rhythm and emotion, but without finding the way to the net in the first 45 minutes. The match played in Korçë was characterized by tactical caution, but also by some dangerous moments that could have changed the outcome.

Laçi were the first to try to threaten from a free kick, but their attempt was blocked by the home team’s defensive wall, causing no serious problems for Skënderbeu’s goal.

Shortly after, Skënderbeu came very close to scoring with a beautiful move: Nasr failed to send the ball into the net after a pass from Muhamed, missing a golden opportunity for the Korçë side.

After that, the game became more balanced, with both teams looking for space, but without being effective in the final third.

Laçi threatened again in the middle of the first half, when a quick action created panic in the home defense, but luck was on Skënderbeu’s side.

Later, Tresa tried from distance for Laçi, but without success, while goalkeeper Dobjani showed security in key moments, keeping a clean sheet.

At the end of the first half, Laçi insisted with several set pieces, but the Korçë defense reacted in time.

With the restart of the game, Laçi and Skënderbeu increased the tempo and made several changes in search of the advantage. The match became more physical and tense in midfield.

In a decisive moment of the match, Skënderbeu were reduced to one player less after a controversial challenge which, following VAR intervention, resulted in a red card and completely changed the balance on the field.

Laçi began to push more and more, creating several clear scoring chances, but goalkeeper Dobjani and the lack of finishing kept the result open.

Skënderbeu tried to respond with quick counterattacks, but fatigue and numerical inferiority affected their game.

In the final minutes, Laçi increased the pressure to the maximum, pushing Skënderbeu into their own half and persistently searching for the title-winning goal.

In the very last moments of the match, after a long action and constant pressure, Laçi found the net and celebrations erupted for the Kurbin side in the Korçë stadium. Skënderbeu failed to respond and the final ended with the trophy going to Laçi.

A dramatic final, decided in the last seconds, gives Laçi the First Category championship title.
