Skënderbeu–Laçi for the championship title on Monday / In Korçë they want first place!

On Monday, 4 May, the First Division season comes to an end, while all attention at 17:00 will be on the “Skënderbeu” stadium, where the two best teams of the category, Skënderbeu Korçë and KF Laçi, will decide the championship title.

Skënderbeu Korçë holds several advantages going into this final match of the season, as they play at home and have strong fan support. Additionally, Skënderbeu is one point ahead of the Kurbinas side and has two favorable outcomes available: a win or even a draw. KF Laçi, on the other hand, needs only a victory.

In Korçë, there is a strong desire to finish in first place, and it would be considered a disappointment if Skënderbeu were to lose it, as they have led the standings from the beginning and are seen as fully deserving of the First Division title. However, both teams have already secured promotion to the Superliga and will play without pressure, while the only remaining question is who will lift the trophy.

On Sunday, one day before the final match for the title, the other fixtures will also be played, with the bottom of the table expected to remain dramatic until the final round.
