SKËNDERBEU ready for Apolonia, aiming for victory in Fier / Round 26 of the First Category tomorrow!

The 26th round of the Albanian First Category will return this weekend, with all six scheduled matches set to be played on the same day and at the same time.

Since last week, the Albanian Football Federation decided that the matches would be played simultaneously to avoid any possible favoritism. Therefore, all the fixtures of Round 26 will take place on Saturday, March 14, with kick-off at 15:00.

The three teams at the top of the table will play away this week. The first match will be between Apolonia and Skënderbeu. The red-and-whites will face an Apolonia side that desperately needs points as it risks dropping toward the bottom of the table, but Skënderbeu has only one option and cannot afford to slip against the Fier side playing at home.

Meanwhile, Laçi will face a tough away match in Peshkopi against Korabi, while third-placed Pogradeci will play away in Luz against Besa.

The other matches are also expected to be competitive. Burreli will face Kukësi, Iliria will host Kastrioti, and the final match will be between Lushnja and Luftëtari.
