Teenagers assault a 17-year-old girl in Thessaloniki and post the video, two girls arrested, including one Albanian

A 17-year-old girl in Thessaloniki was beaten by four minors and ended up in the hospital with head injuries. So far, police have arrested a 16-year-old girl of Albanian origin and a 17-year-old Greek girl, while another 17-year-old has been identified and the fourth member of the group has not yet been identified.

According to Greek police, the entire incident was filmed on a phone and the video was later posted on the 16-year-old’s Instagram account.

Employees of a nearby pharmacy who witnessed the attack intervened and called an ambulance, as well as the 17-year-old’s parents, who filed a complaint. The 17-year-old, as diagnosed by doctors at Papanikolaou Hospital where she was transferred, suffered head injuries and a dislocated vertebra, and will need to wear a neck brace for two days.
