Tendai Ndoro, former Zimbabwean player, found dead in Johannesburg

African football is in mourning following the death of former Zimbabwean striker Tendai Ndoro at the age of 40. He was found dead at his home in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The news was confirmed by his former club, Orlando Pirates, which in an official statement expressed condolences to the player’s family, friends, and loved ones. The club said it was deeply saddened by the loss of one of its former forwards.

Following the news, fans immediately reacted on social media with touching messages, recalling the most memorable moments of Ndoro’s career. Some thanked the player for the memories, while others paid tribute with words like “Rest in peace, brother” and “RIP legend Ndoro.”
