Veterans international triangular tournament held in Korçë, with Teuta declared winner

Yesterday, an international veterans’ triangular tournament was played in the southeastern city of Korçë, featuring two Albanian teams, Skënderbeu and Teuta, along with the Greek side of Kosturi.

At the end of the competition, Teuta from Durrës was declared the winner, having convincingly defeated the other two teams and secured the trophy of a tournament that delivered strong emotions at the “Skënderbeu” stadium.

The red-and-white side saw the return of well-known former players who clearly brought nostalgia back to the pitch, while all three teams delivered solid performances.

Skënderbeu, playing at home, failed to win either of its two matches, but the tournament successfully brought together generations of players with strong fair play and good quality football, despite the age category.
