The 10-month-old baby dies tragically after choking on food

A 10-month-old baby has tragically lost its life in Greece, despite doctors’ efforts to save the child. The infant was urgently transported by helicopter from the island of Rhodes to Athens for specialized treatment, but unfortunately did not survive.
According to Greek media, the baby died around 4:30 a.m., after several hours of intensive efforts by medical staff. The tragic incident occurred on Thursday evening, when the child was rushed to Rhodes Hospital after choking during feeding. Doctors managed to remove the obstruction from the baby’s airway and revive the child, but the prolonged lack of oxygen had caused a severe deterioration in the baby’s health condition.
Due to the critical situation, authorities decided to immediately transport the infant by helicopter to a specialized hospital in Athens. However, despite the doctors’ efforts during the transfer and after arrival in the Greek capital, the baby could not be saved.
The case has caused widespread shock, while authorities continue their investigations to clarify the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
