The captain apologizes: A penalty that could have changed everything

As a son of this city and as the team captain, I feel it is my moral duty to sincerely apologize.

First, I apologize to the club president, who has invested so much in this city and in us. I apologize to my teammates, because perhaps if I had scored the penalty, the course of the match would have been different.

I apologize to my coach, Çela, who has given his maximum at every moment, as well as to our loyal fans, who eagerly await the Superliga and have always supported us.

Football is like this — there are moments that lift you up and moments that bring you down, but I am very sorry that it happened this way. Nevertheless, we must not give up. There is still hope, and in football, anything is possible.

We will give our maximum in the play-offs and, with God ahead of us, we will fight until the end to achieve what we all want.
