The CIES Football Observatory has published its latest report on the most valuable national teams heading into the 2026 World Cup

“FIFA 2026” is expected to be a unique World Cup, where legends such as Messi, Ronaldo, and many other stars will take part in a fierce battle to secure the golden trophy and eternal glory. The Football Observatory, CIES, has published a study revealing the most valuable national teams and their most prized players.

At the top of the list as the most valuable national team in this World Cup is England, with the “Three Lions” valued at €1.454 billion. Their most valuable player is Morgan Rogers, at €137 million.

In second place, according to the CIES report, is France. The “Les Bleus” of Deschamps are valued at €1.436 billion. Their most valuable player is Kylian Mbappé, with the captain valued at €166 million.

Completing the podium of the most expensive national teams in “FIFA 2026” is Spain. “La Roja” is valued at €1.407 billion. Their most valuable player is Lamine Yamal, valued at €358 million.

Germany, Portugal, and the Netherlands follow in the ranking as the most valuable national teams at the “FIFA 2026” World Cup.
