The First Division returns this weekend with matchday 29, a round expected to be crucial for both the title race and teams’ objectives at this stage of the championship.

League leaders Skënderbeu will host Iliria at the “Skënderbeu” Stadium, aiming to maintain their momentum and keep hold of first place. Skënderbeu currently lead the standings with 67 points and are looking for another positive result to strengthen their position at the top.

Meanwhile, second-placed Laçi, with 64 points, will face Burreli at home. The Kurbin side is aiming to return to winning ways after a draw in the previous round against Iliria, keeping the title race alive.

Pogradeci, sitting third with 61 points, will look to continue their positive run against Kastrioti at the “Gjorgji Kyçyku” Stadium. The lakeside team is targeting another win to stay close to the top two.
