The mystery surrounding the death of Turkish actress Ece Irtem is solved, autopsy reveals the official cause of death

Weeks after speculation and uncertainty surrounding the death of Turkish actress Ece Irtem, authorities have revealed the official cause of her death.

The 35-year-old actress, best known for her role as Isil in the hit TV series *Kizilcik Serbeti*, passed away several weeks ago. Initial reports claimed she had suffered a heart attack, while later Turkish media speculated that her death might have been linked to a monkey bite she allegedly sustained during a trip to Thailand.

However, following a new autopsy and an investigation conducted by Turkey's Forensic Medicine Institute, it has been officially confirmed that Ece Irtem died as a result of ethyl alcohol poisoning.

The forensic report revealed that the actress had an extremely high blood alcohol concentration of approximately 395 mg/dl. Experts concluded that the official cause of death was ethanol poisoning, ruling out the earlier theories.

The actress's family had requested that investigators also examine the possibility of complications caused by a monkey bite, after marks were reportedly noticed on her arm following her return from vacation in Thailand. For this reason, the family's lawyer asked that the autopsy include tests for possible infections.

Ece Irtem's mother revealed that on the night before the tragedy, she and her daughter had attended a birthday party. According to her, the actress had consumed a large amount of alcohol while also taking strong antidepressant medication.

She said that the following morning she found her daughter with no signs of life.

With the release of the final autopsy report, the mystery surrounding the Turkish actress's death appears to have been resolved, while the theory linking her death to a monkey bite has been officially ruled out by the authorities.
