The national team plays at “Skënderbeu” Stadium – Two girls from Korçë wear the red and black jersey

The Albanian U-19 women’s national football team is set to play two friendly matches against Romania on May 31 and June 2, hosted at the “Skënderbeu” stadium in Korçë.

The squad has already begun preparations for these encounters, and head coach Luçije Gjini has announced a list of 20 selected players. Among them, six are based abroad, while the rest are active in the Albanian domestic league.

The first match between Albania and Romania will kick off on May 31 at 17:30, with the second scheduled for June 2 at 10:30.

These friendlies serve as a valuable opportunity for the technical staff to assess the players’ form and performance up close, as the team builds for future international competitions.
