Japan was hit by two consecutive earthquakes. First, an earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude was recorded, followed by another measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the Shikoku Island was also affected by the earthquake.
The epicenter was recorded in the city of Neobeoka.
