TRAGEDY IN ATHENS / Domestic violence ends tragically: 74-year-old attacks his wife and dies

A tragic incident occurred in Athens, where a 74-year-old man injured his wife with a knife and then died. The victim was stabbed in the neck and was immediately taken to the hospital, where she is being treated in serious condition.

According to Greek media, the incident happened following a sudden conflict between the spouses. After the attack, the man climbed onto the roof of a building and attempted to cross to a neighboring building in an apparent suicide attempt, but he fell accidentally and died.

A possible suicide note was found on his body, stating that he could no longer endure the situation. The knife used in the attack was also found nearby. Police and ambulance teams arrived at the scene immediately but were unable to save him.
