UEFA Women’s Champions League/ Emanuela Rusta to referee the Paris SG–Frankfurt clash

Albanian referee Emanuela Rusta will take charge of another important European fixture. She has been appointed to officiate the second leg of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s Champions League between Paris Saint-Germain and Frankfurt.

The match will be played on September 2 at 18:30 at the “PSG Campus” stadium in Poissy.

Rusta will be joined by two other Albanian officials on the refereeing team. Jena Mala will serve as one of the assistant referees, while Eglantina Pjetrushaj will be the fourth official. The other assistant referee will be England’s Nicoleta Bria.

Rusta’s appointment to this high-level European fixture is another recognition of Albanian refereeing on the international stage.
