Iranian media have published the first photo of Iran’s leader, Ali Khamenei, at the moment of the bombing, showing him trapped under rubble.
As seen in the image displayed on screens, he is beneath the debris while rescue teams attempt to extract him.
Media reports note that Ali Khamenei succeeded the founder of the Islamic Revolution in 1989.
He was killed in an attack by Israel and the United States, Iranian state media confirmed early Sunday.
