“When I'm at work, you're on my mind,” Mateo makes a romantic declaration to Brikena: “When you entered Big Brother VIP, you took my breath away”

The hosts Mateo Borri and Brikena Selmani, who joined the program Top Arena during the 2026 World Cup, shared details of their love story with the public in a romantic interview.

During the conversation, the couple spoke about what it's like to work together on the same show and recalled how their relationship began during Big Brother VIP 5.

Mateo Borri said that having his partner in the same workplace makes the experience even more special, although, according to him, it sometimes distracts his attention.

Mateo: “Being with your partner on the same program, at the same workplace, gives you a different kind of joy and warmth. It has its beautiful moments, we arrive together, get ready together, do everything together. The downside is that when I'm at work, you're on my mind. That's the only problem. I think about you more than I think about the guests.”

For her part, Brikena described this as something positive and asked her partner what his reaction had been when he saw her become part of the Big Brother VIP house.

Brikena: “That's actually a very beautiful thing, it's not a problem at all. What was your first thought when you saw that I had entered Big Brother VIP?”

In his response, Mateo revealed that Brikena's entrance into the reality show completely changed the way he viewed his own journey in the program.

Mateo: “I know that for a moment, it took my breath away. I had all kinds of emotions and anxiety, knowing that I was going to enter the house. The moment I saw you, I realized that my entire journey would change, because I knew that once I went inside... there's a saying: 'Where there are sparks, there's fire.' I came carrying cans of gasoline with me because I knew you were the fire.”
