Wizz Air, one of the largest ultra-low-cost airlines in Europe, is pleased to announce its partnership with the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) as the Official Airline of FSHF, along with a special promotional offer for Albanian passengers.

This collaboration further strengthens Wizz Air’s long-term investment in the Albanian market, going beyond aviation and supporting national pride, sports development, and community engagement. Through this partnership, Wizz Air aims to stay close to Albanian fans and contribute to the growth and promotion of football in the country.

As Albania continues to strengthen its presence on the international football stage, this partnership reflects a shared ambition between Wizz Air and FSHF to inspire, connect, and unite people through sport. With this agreement, the airline becomes the official travel sponsor and partner of FSHF.

Silvia Mosquera, Chief Commercial Officer at Wizz Air, stated: “Albania is one of Wizz Air’s most important markets and we are proud to strengthen our connection with the country through this partnership with the Albanian Football Federation. Football has a unique power to bring people together, just like travel, and we are excited to support the national team and its fans on the journey ahead.”

The President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, added:

“In recent years, an increasing number of large and successful companies, such as Wizz Air, have chosen to become part of this journey, and this is not a coincidence but the result of consistent work, professionalism, and a long-term vision we have built over the years. Their presence represents an important recognition of the direction Albanian football is taking, as well as concrete proof of their trust in its potential and future as a reliable platform for cooperation.”

To celebrate this partnership and bring fans even closer to the emotions of the game, Wizz Air is also launching a special promotion for travelers flying to and from Tirana. Passengers can benefit from a 15% discount on all routes to and from Tirana using the code KUQEZI15. The offer is valid for bookings made from April 14 to 17, 2026, for travel between April 20 and June 15, 2026.

Wizz Air opened its base in Tirana in 2020, currently operates 15 based aircraft, and runs 62 routes to 20 countries from the Albanian capital. The airline has continuously expanded its presence in Albania, offering a wide network of destinations connecting Tirana with key European cities. This partnership further highlights Wizz Air’s commitment to the country, not only as a leading aviation player but also as an active contributor to cultural and sporting life.
