25-year-old woman dies after succumbing to injuries sustained in hotel fire

Ana Dyrmishi, a 25-year-old woman from Durrës, has died after suffering severe injuries in the fire that engulfed the “Brooklyn” Hotel on Vlora’s Lungomare on August 16.
The young woman had suffered burns to around 85% of her body and had been fighting for her life for days. After receiving initial treatment in Albania, she was transferred to Turkey for more specialized medical care.
Despite doctors’ efforts, the 25-year-old’s condition remained critical, and she passed away today.
Ana Dyrmishi lived with her family in the Shkozet area of Durrës.
The tragic incident occurred in the early hours of August 16, when a fire broke out at the “Brooklyn” Hotel on Vlora’s Lungomare.
Six people were injured in the blaze. The situation inside the building was severe, with several people staying at the hotel forced to escape through balconies to avoid the flames.
The 25-year-old suffered the most serious injuries in the fire. After nearly two weeks in critical condition, she succumbed to her injuries.
