The approach of Orthodox Easter has increased traffic at the Kakavijë border crossing, on the border with Greece. Traditionally, compatriots living and working in the neighboring country return to their hometowns to spend Easter with family and relatives. Border Police services at Kakavijë have processed 6,279 citizens in the past 24 hours, with 3,821 entering and 2,458 exiting the country.
