Facilitations/ Cadastre: Documents required for the registration of the Act of Acquisition of Land Ownership

The State Cadastre Agency (ASHK) is informing citizens about the documentation they need to have in order to register the Act of Acquisition of Land Ownership (AMTP).

According to SCA, citizens who have been issued an AALO must ensure, before applying for registration of the act, that they have all the required documentation.

The application file must include the original AALO, a survey plan of the acquired land area, in accordance with the standards approved by a decision of the Council of Ministers, as well as a family status certificate, depending on the category of the beneficiary family.

For beneficiary families from former agricultural cooperatives, the family status certificate dated August 1, 1991, as well as the certificate from the time of registration, is required. For families from former agricultural enterprises, the certificate dated August 1, 1991, with changes through October 1, 1992, as well as the certificate from the time of registration, is required.

In cases where beneficiary families have had their land ownership revoked, official documentation proving ownership of the land prior to 1946 must be submitted, along with proof of inheritance, where applicable.

The documentation must also include proof of payment of local taxes.

ASHK emphasizes that the applicant must not have received agricultural land within the territory of another former cooperative or former agricultural enterprise, other than the one where the land for which registration is being requested is located.

“After the application is submitted, the local directorate carries out the relevant verifications to assess the possibility of registering the plots, based on the available property documentation and the actual conditions on the ground.

The documentation must be uploaded in PDF format during the application process, while the original copies must be sent by mail to the relevant Local Directorate,” the Cadastre Agency states.
