A 500,000 lek fine comes as a "surprise" to the Albanian moderator, who appeals to the state: "I was not in Korça at all, make up your mind..."

Moderatorja Dajana Shabani shared with her followers a concern regarding a traffic fine, which she claims was imposed unfairly.

Through a video posted on social media, Shabani revealed that she had received a "surprise" fine amounting to 500,000 lek, with two different dates listed December 5, 2023, and January 7, 2024. According to her, she was not in the city of Korça on either of these dates.

Shabani appealed to the authorities to stop imposing unjust fines, stressing that many citizens have faced the same problem.

"Unjust fines must come to an end. I have a lot of respect for the police, especially the traffic police, because they work in both rain and sun. But I’ve been surprised with a 500,000 lek fine, the same fine for December 5, 2023, and January 7, 2024, in Korça," she said. "First of all, make up your mind for each date, because it’s the same fine. Secondly, I was not in Korça on either of these dates, nor did I receive a fine for speeding. The imposition of unjust fines needs to stop once and for all."

Shabani called on the Police and the Ministry of the Interior to take action and handle the situation.
