A serious incident in Korça: A patient entered the dialysis department with a gasoline can and threatened to set himself and the department on fire

A person has threatened the medical staff in the dialysis department in Korça. Reliable sources have reported that a patient from the dialysis service entered the premises of this department earlier today with a gasoline can, threatening the nurses that he would set himself and the department on fire.

At the time of the incident, there were 20 patients receiving dialysis treatment inside the department, but the quick intervention of the police forces prevented a very serious incident. The same source mentioned that the gasoline can fell from the patient’s hand before he could set anything on fire.

The patient has been taken to the Korça police station where he is being questioned to clarify the circumstances of this incident, while expert teams are at the scene to investigate what happened earlier today.
