A 73-year-old woman reported missing was found without signs of life this morning in the Osum River, in the village of Gradishtë, Berat, around 09:00.
According to preliminary information, the elderly woman had left her home on April 22, 2026, and suffered from mental health problems.
Her body was found in the Osum River, while police forces and the investigative team arrived at the scene to clarify the full circumstances of the incident.
The materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office in Berat for further actions.
