After the rally, the police take action: 15 people are criminally prosecuted

Police structures in Tirana have criminally prosecuted 15 citizens, following investigative actions related to a rally held in Tirana, which is suspected of having caused public order disturbances and road traffic blockage.

According to the official announcement, the individuals prosecuted are charged with “Organizing and participating in illegal gatherings and demonstrations,” “Disturbing public order and peace,” and “Obstructing vehicle traffic.”

Investigations show that the rally, initially scheduled to take place between 19:00–22:00 in Skanderbeg Square and “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard, later continued along several main city roads, including Elbasan Street, the 9-Katëshi area, the former Block area, and sections of the Ring Road, causing traffic disruption and exceeding the designated perimeter.

During investigative actions, police have seized one vehicle and two mobile phones as material evidence.

The materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for further procedural actions.
