The Librazhd–Prrenjas road axis, which reopened to traffic this week after intensive interventions on the ground, will be accessible to all types of vehicles.
According to the Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH), the temporary road in its initial phase will be covered with compacted gravel to allow normal vehicle passage, including heavy-tonnage vehicles. ARRSH emphasizes that for a period of about 10 days, the road will consolidate through natural compaction and from the circulation of vehicles passing over it.
After this stabilization phase, this road segment will undergo the asphalt paving process, becoming a fully functional and standardized route. ARRSH guarantees that work will continue at a fast pace to ensure the long-term stability and safety of this segment, which connects Tirana with the southeast of the country and represents an important corridor for the movement of citizens and the transport of goods.
The reopening of this axis will significantly ease traffic and restore normality for residents and businesses in the area after the difficult days caused by the interruption of movement.
