The names of the six people injured in the fire that engulfed a hotel on Vlora’s Lungomare have also been released.
According to the information, five of the injured are Albanian citizens from Kosovo, while one is from Rrëshen.
The head of the intensive care unit at Vlora Regional Hospital said that three of the injured are in serious health condition. One woman has burns covering nearly 100% of her body, while five of the injured have been transferred to Tirana for specialized treatment in the burns and plastic surgery unit.

Meanwhile, the Police have also issued an official statement regarding the incident that occurred in the early hours of the morning in Vlora, where a hotel caught fire. As a result, six tourists were injured, five of them from Kosovo and one from Rrëshen.
Based on the investigative actions carried out, including an examination of security camera footage, it was determined that the fire was accidental and was caused by the burning of the electrical socket of a refrigerator located in the restaurant area.

Today, at around 04:05, in the “10 Korriku” neighborhood of Vlora, a fire broke out inside a hotel owned by citizen M. A. As a result of the fire, six tourists were injured, five of them citizens of Kosovo and one citizen from Rrëshen.
Five of the injured were transported to the Burns Hospital in Tirana for treatment, two of whom suffered significant burns to their bodies. One citizen is receiving medical treatment at Vlora Regional Hospital. The fire also caused material damage.
Based on the investigative actions carried out, including an examination of security camera footage, it was determined that the fire was accidental and was caused by the burning of the electrical socket of a refrigerator located in the restaurant area. The investigative team, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, is continuing procedural actions to fully document the incident.
