In a recently published article, the first connection linking Ajola Xoxa to the Sharra landfill was revealed, involving the company “MEG Albania.”
This detail was highlighted in the testimony of citizen Erald Ismaili, who stated during his declaration to investigators that “MEG Albania,” a waste management company, had been referred to him by Ajola Xoxa and Klotilda.
According to Erald Ismaili’s statements, Vladimir Fezga, the owner of “MEG Albania,” a company originating from Veliaj’s electoral zone, went to Ajola Xoxa’s office to open a business, specifically, to operate in the Sharra landfill.
Ajola Xoxa assisted “MEG Albania,” preparing the documents for the company to secure the waste management contract at the Sharra landfill, only a few months after the murder of Ardit Gjoklaj in 2017, at a time when the Mayor of Tirana was her husband, Erion Veliaj.

It was revealed that Ajola Xoxa, wife of Erion Veliaj, the current mayor of Tirana, is clearly involved in assisting a company to enter the Sharra landfill and later to sell shares to companies owned by Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtiri.
The scheme goes from Ajola to Erion, within his electoral zone, then to the Tirana Municipality at the Sharra landfill, and ends with the organized criminal group linked to the non-existent Tirana incinerator. You can read the details of the scheme HERE.

Ajola Xoxa’s Second Connection to the Incinerator Company
Following the scheme that revealed the links in the chain Ajola Xoxa – Erion Veliaj – “MEG Albania” – Tirana incinerator, a second report emerged once again highlighting the connection of the mayor’s wife, Erion Veliaj’s spouse, with the Tirana incinerator company.
In April 2024, a contract was published related to the promotion of a contemporary artist, Sislej Xhafa, who used Ajola Xoxa’s “Harabel” work to promote his piece titled “The Bee.”

The investigation revealed that the funds for the creation, promotion, and installation of the artwork were provided to “Harabel” by “Integrated Energy,” the incinerator company.
According to the agreement, the artist gifted the work "The Bee" to “Harabel,” and then the mayor, Erion Veliaj, Ajola’s husband, decided to install it as an art piece within the territory of Tirana.
This artwork was supposed to remain for 5 years in the area of the Tirana incinerator.
According to the agreement, all communication would be conducted jointly among the artist, the incinerator company, and “Harabel.”
