In a recent interview, Armand Duka, President of the Albanian Football Federation, discussed the upcoming match against Serbia, part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. He emphasized that the team's objective is to secure all three points, especially since the match will be played on home soil.

Duka acknowledged that, on paper, Albania and Serbia are the primary contenders for the group's second spot, with England being the favorite for first place. He noted that while Serbia has internal challenges, they remain a professional team with skilled players. However, he believes Albania's cohesive squad and strong support system give them an advantage.

Addressing concerns about ticketing, Duka stated that tickets are personalized and non-transferable to prevent unauthorized entry. He also commented on the political undertones of the match, urging that football should remain a sport and not be politicized.

Duka concluded by expressing confidence in the team's preparation and the importance of maintaining composure under pressure to achieve a positive result.
