Anastas Janullatos’ Condition Worsens, Intubated Again

The health condition of Archbishop Anastasios Yannoulatos has worsened, and he is currently hospitalized at the “Evangelismos” hospital in Athens.

According to Greek media, the archbishop’s health deteriorated this morning, January 24.

It is reported that the archbishop has suffered severe organ damage and has been intubated.

“Archbishop of Albania Anastasios is reportedly intubated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of ‘Evangelismos’ following surgery he underwent on the afternoon of January 10,” Greek media report.

The archbishop had been hospitalized in Tirana since December 30 due to seasonal flu but was transferred to Athens on January 3 for more specialized care after experiencing digestive system issues.

His health condition remains critical due to his medical history and advanced age.
