Surgeon Nikolla Nunka, who was arrested for alleged sexual harassment of a 21-year-old woman, has been hospitalized at Korçë hospital after developing health issues following his detention.

According to information, the doctor felt unwell while in police custody, and due to a history of heart problems, he was urgently taken for medical examination.

After a check-up and an ECG test, doctors reportedly detected cardiac concerns and decided to admit him to hospital for further monitoring.

Nunka is currently under medical care, while a decision is expected regarding the continuation of his security measure, which had been scheduled for tomorrow.

Sources say the hearing may be held within the hospital premises, depending on his health condition.
