Breaking News / Transparency Board changes fuel trading prices

The Transparency Board, during its meeting held on June 2, 2026, decided on new fuel trading prices.
The maximum retail price of diesel fuel (gasoil) meeting the SSH EN 590 standard has been set at 191 lek per liter, while the maximum wholesale price has been set at 179 lek per liter.
The maximum retail price of gasoline meeting the SSH EN standard has been set at 176 lek per liter, while the maximum wholesale price has been set at 164 lek per liter.
The prices determined by the Board entered into force today, June 2, at 3:00 p.m. and will remain valid until the Board's next meeting, when any changes in fuel prices will be reviewed and reflected.
Authorities have reminded all wholesale and retail fuel operators of their obligation to comply with this decision.
In cases where violations are identified, the operators concerned may face suspension of their business activities.
The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, stated that they remain committed to protecting the interests of Albanian consumers and ensuring the principles of fair competition in the market.
