Breaking news / Transparency Board publishes new fuel prices, here is how much diesel and gasoline will cost

Fuel prices in the country have been updated again by the Transparency Board. According to the decision taken at the meeting held on June 13, 2026, the maximum price of diesel has been set at 183 ALL/liter, while gasoline is set at 170 ALL/liter.

The Transparency Board, in its latest meeting held on June 13, 2026, decided the following:

The retail price of the diesel fuel product, according to standard SSH EN 590, shall not exceed 183 ALL/liter, while the wholesale price shall not exceed 171 ALL/liter.

The retail price of the gasoline product, according to SSH EN standard, shall not exceed 170 ALL/liter, while the wholesale price shall not exceed 158 ALL/liter.

The prices set by the Board will enter into force today, June 13, at 14:00, and will remain valid until the next Board meeting, where any changes in selling prices will be reflected.

We draw the attention of all wholesale and retail operators of petroleum products to the obligation to comply with this decision.

In case of violations by operators, suspension of activity will be imposed.

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, are committed to protecting the interests of Albanian consumers and maintaining fair competition principles in the market.

Referuar Aktit Normativ nr. 1, datë 03.04.2026, “Për një shtesë në ligjin nr. 61/2012 ‘Për akcizat në Republikën e Shqipërisë’, të ndryshuar”, parashikohet që në rast se çmimi i shitjes me pakicë i gazoilit është më i lartë se 220 lekë/litër, ose i benzinës më i lartë se 200 lekë/litër, të zbatohet niveli 80% i akcizës.

Bazuar në metodologjinë për llogaritjen e çmimeve tavan të shitjes me pakicë, çmimet rezultojnë nën kufijtë e përcaktuar nga Akti Normativ nr. 1, datë 03.04.2026, dhe për rrjedhojë niveli i akcizës do të zbatohet i plotë, pra 100%.

Gazoili për peshkim

Referuar Ligjit nr. 9975, datë 28.07.2008 “Për taksat kombëtare”, në nenin 9, “Përjashtimet nga pagimi i taksave kombëtare”, pika 6, parashikohet se:

“Përjashtohen nga pagimi i taksës së qarkullimit dhe taksës së karbonit anijet e peshkimit.”

Gjithashtu, referuar nenit 10, pika 3, shkronja “d”, të Ligjit nr. 61/2012 “Për akcizat në Republikën e Shqipërisë”, parashikohet përjashtimi nga detyrimet e akcizës i karburantit për anijet e peshkimit, në sasitë, kushtet dhe kriteret e përcaktuara me VKM.

Bazuar në metodologjinë e përcaktuar në aktin normativ, çmimi i shitjes së gazoilit për peshkim rezulton 88 lekë/litër.
