A few moments ago, the president of the AFL, Armando Duka, gave the sad news of the passing away of the former champion striker of Flamurtari, Anesti Vito, at the age of 52.

Dear friends,

I learned a few minutes ago the sad news of the death of the former champion striker of Flamurtar and Tirana, Anesti Vito.

Nesti excelled in Flagurtari, being declared champion in the 90/91 season and also contributed a lot to Albanian football with the jerseys of Albpetrol, Tomorri, Bylis and Tirana, where he won the title of champion again in the 1999-2000 season.

On behalf of the Albanian Football Federation and the Albanian football community, I express my sincerest condolences to the Vito family, FC Flamurtar and all Anesti's many friends.
