Capital letter at the beginning, cursive writing in the middle, and capital letters at the end! How is the police document written?

We will not focus on the administrative measure itself, nor on the question of whether it was fair or not. That is a separate issue and can be assessed based on the circumstances and the law.

What caught our attention this time is the way the document was written by the police officer.

And honestly, there is a lot to discuss here.

This is an official document, which should be clear, accurate, and written according to the basic rules of the Albanian language. Yet a simple look at it reveals numerous spelling mistakes and a highly unusual use of letters.

In some cases, a word begins with a capital letter, continues with cursive handwriting in the middle, and ends again with a capital letter. A style of writing that immediately catches the eye and hardly gives the impression of a document that was carefully checked before being officially issued.

In addition, the document contains other spelling errors, unnecessary use of capital letters, and problems with the way some statements have been formulated.

And this raises the question: How is it possible for an official document to be issued in this form?

We are not saying that a spelling mistake necessarily changes the substance of an administrative measure. But when it comes to an official act, the way a document is written and presented matters.

A police officer, just like any other public official, when drafting a document on behalf of the institution they represent, should demonstrate accuracy and professionalism in writing as well.

Because official documents are not ordinary social media messages, nor are they personal notes.

They should be accurate, readable, and, above all, comply with the basic rules of the Albanian language.

Therefore, this time the question is not whether the administrative measure is fair or not.

The question is much simpler:

Shouldn’t an official document be checked before it is signed and used, especially when the mistakes are so obvious?
