“Clean Albania” / Cleanup operation in Pogradec, Edi Rama: Efforts will continue for full preparation of the tourist season

A large-scale cleanup operation began yesterday across the entire territory of the municipality of Pogradec, mainly focusing on national road axes and along the lakeshore.

Public works enterprises, cleaning companies, as well as school students from the city were involved in this initiative.

Regarding this effort, Prime Minister Edi Rama also reacted through a post on social media, stating that cleanup actions will continue in a second phase for the full preparation of the tourist season.

“Pogradec, the large-scale cleanup operation.

This initiative involved municipal enterprises, private companies, and school students. The operation started from Qafë Thanë, as an entry point for foreign tourists, continued along the Qafë Thanë–Pogradec axis and along the lakeshore.

Cleanup actions will continue in a second phase for the full preparation of the tourist season,” Rama wrote in his post.
