Driver under the influence of alcohol collides with police officers, rapid legal proceedings initiated

Two officers of the Durrës Police were hit by a 33-year-old driver on the Plepa-Shkozet road while on duty. Fortunately, they were not injured.
The police immediately arrested citizen Xh. I., 33 years old, resident of Durrës, who was driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
The incident occurred when the driver collided with the motorcycle on which the two officers were traveling.
As a result of the accident, only material damage occurred. Road Traffic specialists arrested the driver in flagrante and referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
