'Earthquake' in the Prison Directorates / Resignations and new appointments after surprise inspections in prison cells

The General Director of Prisons, Adriatik Kupi, has made several changes in the Prison Directorates. This move came after surprise inspections in prison cells, where items such as phones, USB devices, and drinks were found and confiscated.

It has been reported that Klodjan Myrto has been appointed director of the Reç prison, while his predecessor, Algert Çekrezi, has resigned. Çekrezi has returned to the State Police.

Arjan Bozhaj has been assigned to the “Jordan Misja” prison following the resignation of the director of Prison 313. At the Elbasan detention center, Markiz Sallufi has been appointed, replacing Qazim Hoxha. Meanwhile, at the Rrogozhina Prison, Bilal Hasa had been suspended and Alban Zela has been assigned in his place.
